Material G17CrMo9-10 (1.7379)

Reliable at high temperatures and under heavy loads

G17CrMo9-10 is the right choice when high heat resistance is required in combination with good toughness. This heat-resistant cast steel is primarily used for heavily stressed components that must operate reliably even at elevated temperatures – for example, in boiler, turbine and pressure vessel construction. It offers very good creep resistance, excellent heat resistance and high resistance to thermal fatigue and ageing.
